Carol Albert began her new radio single "Fire & Water" this Summer when she and Roberto Vally started a collaboration and writing project. Roberto sent a groove to work from, Carol started with several different melodies on piano and synthesizer parts in her home studio and the project grew into a successful online collaboration of the song.
The word Firewater immediately came to Carol's mind and grew into "Fire & Water" representing mixed elements of fire & passion in the breakdown section and water & the graceful ease of life in the intro and interim sections. The mixture of these elements make this a fun, unique, easily flowing tune.
Carol plays pianos, keys, and programmed the synthesizer parts while Roberto added his unique bass style with Curtis McCain bringing his mixture of latin percussion instruments and Andrew Neu helping out on the saxophone and flute.
The result is a unique, exotic soundscape!
